How would I Know if my phone is locked after switching new Korea SIM Card?

In order to find out if your phone is locked after switching new Korea SIM Cards, be sure to follow these steps:
1. Turn off the phone.
2. Remove the existing SIM Card.
3. Insert an activated new Korea SIM Card from any other network.
4. After following the above three steps if your phone requests for:

In case of android phone,
a) “Unlock PIN Code , or >> (Enter network unlock code)”
b) “SIM Network Unlock PIN Code”,
it means that your new Korea SIM card is not accepted and your phone is locked.

In case of iphone,
a) “SIM not supported” or “SIM not valid ”
The SIM card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a service provider that is not supported under the activation policy that is currency assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported service provider or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your service provider. Please contact Apple for more information.

b) “SIM not supported” or “SIM not valid ”
it means that your new Korea SIM card is not accepted and your phone is locked.
