It is an additional free service provided by a Korean public certification authority that allows identity verification using a mobile phone number.
In general, your real name, date of birth, and Korean mobile phone number are required for verification when signing up for Korean websites or purchasing products from Korean online stores.
Eligibility:
– Available only to holders of a Korean national ID card (passport, resident registration card, driver’s license) or a foreigner’s Alien Registration Card (ARC).
– Foreign passport holders are not eligible for this service

– You will receive a text message with a 6-digit code.
