Overview & Critical Requirements

Before purchasing a Korea or International eSIM, please ensure your device meets the following conditions. Otherwise, your eSIM may not activate properly.

Before purchasing, please make sure your phone is:
– eSIM Compatibility (see the list below).
– Carrier Unlocked: Your phone must be carrier-unlocked (Country-unlocked) for international use.
– iOS Version: For iPhones, ensure your iOS is updated to 15.0 or higher to prevent setup errors.
– Otherwise, your Korea or International eSIM may not activate properly.

Quick Test: Check for EID

– Open your phone’s dial pad.
– Dial *#06# (No need to tap the call button, it usually appears instantly).
– If an EID (Embedded ID) number/barcode appears on the screen, your device hardware supports eSIM.

– iPhone 17 Series: iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, 17e
– iPhone 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 Series: All models (Standard, Plus, Pro, Pro Max, 13 Mini)

iPhone Regional Restrictions:
– Mainland China: iPhones purchased in mainland China do not support eSIM.
– Hong Kong & Macau: Only the following models support eSIM: iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE (2020/2022), and iPhone XS. (Other models from HK/Macau utilize dual physical SIM slots).
– Dual eSIMs: iPhone 13 models and newer allow you to have two eSIMs activated simultaneously.
